At Whole Kids Co., our award-winning Pediatric Rehabilitation team offers a uniquely compassionate, trauma-informed approach to care—centered on each child and rooted in deep respect for families. We provide comprehensive services including Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Speech Therapy, all designed to help children reach their fullest potential through play, movement, and meaningful connection.

Megan Henkes, MA, LPC, NCC | Clinical Director
Megan earned her Master’s degree in Counseling and Human Services from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, with dual licensure in School Counseling and Licensed Professional Counseling. She connects deeply with the WKC core value of Compassion, which she sees as the grounding force that allows us to hold space for others with empathy and respect. Compassion encourages us to respond to more than just behaviors—it invites us to understand the whole person. Megan also values Fun, recognizing its power to build trust and connection with children. At Whole Kids Co., she believes fun creates an engaging, safe, and collaborative environment for both kids and staff.

Tess Busey, OTR/L
Tess earned her degree from the University of Southern California and holds a Level 1 Functional Pelvic Health Practitioner certification. Her favorite WKC value is Wholeness, because it’s all about helping kids and families feel grounded in who they are, what they do, where they’re going, and how they connect to themselves and others—so they can confidently thrive, not just survive.
Dr. Luis Colón, OTD, OTR/L
Dr. Luis Colón earned his Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from the University of Arkansas and the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He is actively pursuing advanced neurodevelopmental training, including Clinical Neuro Specialist (CNS) and Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT) certifications, with a strong interest in culturally responsive, whole-child neurorehabilitation.
His favorite WKC values are Wholeness and Determination. He believes in seeing the whole child—their identity, cultural background, strengths, and daily routines—and shaping therapy that feels meaningful, respectful, and truly connected to who they are. Driven to continually advance his clinical expertise, Dr. Colón works with purpose and persistence to help close gaps in care and ensure every child and family has access to the support they deserve.
Cara Bowles, COTA
Cara earned her degree from Mountain View College in Texas and has been serving kids with creativity and care since 2020. Her favorite WKC value is Fun—because it promotes motivation to learn, engagement across activities, emotional well-being, and felt safety. Plus, it simply makes therapy more enjoyable!
Physical Therapist Team
Dr. Stephen Zahaner, PT, DPT
Stephen holds bachelor’s degrees in both Biology and Psychology, and earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. He has over six years of experience working with children across school settings, early intervention, home health, and outpatient clinics. His continuing education includes reflex integration, Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), and pediatric ankle and foot rehabilitation. Stephen’s favorite WKC value is Fun because when kids are having fun, they’re more engaged, motivated, and able to build important skills that support participation with peers and in family life.
Jerrica Goodsell, PTA
Jerrica earned her education at Anne Arundel Community College in Maryland. She specializes in Pelvic Floor Therapy and Craniosacral Therapy, helping clients build strength, confidence, and overall wellness. Her favorite WKC value is Wholeness—she believes every person deserves to feel complete, confident, and valued exactly as they are. Jerrica is passionate about helping individuals recognize their strengths, build self-love, and embrace all parts of themselves, supporting each person’s journey toward feeling fully seen and empowered.
Speech Therapy Team
Kiara Johnson, M.S., CCC-SLP
Kiara earned her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Bachelor’s degree in Sign Language Interpreting. Before transitioning into speech-language pathology, she spent seven years working with Deaf students in public schools, which deepened her passion for communication and accessibility. Her professional interests include augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and feeding/swallowing disorders.
Her favorite WKC value is Compassion, as she believes in approaching every individual with grace, empathy, and respect while supporting them in achieving their therapeutic goals.
Rebekah Spears, M.A., CCC-SLP
Rebekah earned her Master’s degree from Calvin University in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She is passionate about creating supportive, engaging environments where children feel encouraged to grow and succeed. Her favorite WKC value is Compassion, which she believes is essential to creating a space where kids feel safe, supported, and confident enough to try their best.
